List of Client Mods allowed

Only the client mods listed on this page are allowed. For any other client mods, ask the staff if you are permitted to use them or not. We will study the mod details and let you know if its is acceptable to use on the server.

Left click the '' forest_Client_Mods 1.9.3.exe'' This will open a Google Drive link where the File is stored, Click the Download button which will download the File into your Downloads folder.

List of Clients Mods allowed: Inventaire

This contains the Client Mod Launcher and the client mods :

1) Live Map 

2) Improved Compass 

  • The compass always displays the heading (even when moving)

  • Compass mouse over will show exact coordinates, heading, angle and height 

3) Tooltips 

  • Provides item information when you hover the mouse pointer over it.

*4) Better Light Mod

  • Allows players to increase or decrease the amount of light they get from light sources.

  • there are 2 parts... one it just literally increases the range (not brightness), lights in Wurm are basically spheres with no attenuation so it makes those spheres bigger.

    there's one setting that acts as a multiplier and another as a flat addition for that part.

    The second part is it can also scale up the RGB values which will affect brightness, and you have control based on 4 different not-really-well-defined categories of lights of each of those 3 variables.

*This mod is not currently active if you would like to use it after extraction, move the contents of the folder "mods not used" and paste the files into the folder "mods" and that's it.

Instructions

 

1) Move the executable you just downloaded from your ''download folder'' to your Wurm Launcher folder.

where to find your wurm Launcher folder :

C:Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Wurm Unlimited/WurmLauncher 

Or, depending on your computer, it can also be

C:Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Wurm Unlimited/WurmLauncher 

2) Press the Extract button.

3) When asked to confirm replacement, click the yes to all button.

4) Click on the file named ''patcher.bat'' and press any key when done.

Note: if you don't see the extension ''.bat'', you can ask your computer to display the extensions of your files. it's '' display'' and you will have a little box to check.
